Aviva donates safety supplies to key workers in Yorkshire

Insurance firm Aviva has taken steps to donate all of surplus safety supplies to key workers.

With the majority of its staff working from home during the coronavirus crisis, Aviva has donated all of its hand sanitisers, rubber gloves, antiseptic wipes and face masks to care homes, hospitals and social care staff.

In all some 5,000 pieces of kit have been given away. From its York offices alone it has donated more than 1,000 items to City of York Adult Social Care unit and North Yorkshire Police.
