Appointments: Finance director moves up the ladder
Barclays has appointed Simon Cox as the new corporate director for Barclays Corporate covering North Yorkshire. He replaces Debbie Mullen who has been appointed as corporate director covering Leeds. Mr Cox has 15 years of financial services experience.
Law firm Burr Sugden has added four new people to its team. Graeme A Webber has joined the Keighley-based firm as head of the practice. Simon Berger joins the team after spending the last four years doing long-term locum work at firms across Yorkshire including Heptonstalls in Goole. Alan Thorn joins the firm after spending two years as a locum at Lupton Fawcett and Paul Wildman has joined the team after previously working at the Insolvency Service.

Hide AdSearch marketing agency Stickyeyes has appointed Heather Healy as head of social media and Phil McGuin as head of insight. Ms Healy joins Leeds-based Stickyeyes from Brilliant Media and Mr McGuin was previously head of online marketing at Kaplan Open Learning.
Property development and regeneration consultancy AspinallVerdi has appointed former CBRE director Parm Dosanjh as regional director after announcing a move to larger offices in Dock Street, Leeds, and the launch of an office in London.
Mr Dosanjh will head the London office to expand the business in the South and the Midlands.
Susan Maxey, a private client specialist, has joined law firm Dickinson Dees as a director. Ms Maxey joins the York-based firm from Leeds-based Addleshaw Goddard. Dickinson Dees has also appointed Roy Davidson as a manager from specialist advisers Bluefin.

Law firm Gordons has appointed Andrew Challener to its commercial property team. He joins the Leeds and Bradford-based firm from Eversheds in Leeds.
