Eureka! It’s Christmas - National Children’s Museum, Halifax (Weekends until December 23)

Ideal for children aged three to seven, there will be an interactive Night Lights show - exploring the wonders of hiding in light and shadows - and the prospect of visiting the grotto.

Christmas Underground - National Coal Mining Museum, Overton (Weekends until December 23)

Put on a helmet and lamp then follow the walkway to meet Santa underground. It is the first time that school and toddler groups can visit him here.
