Linda Green: Things I Wish I'd Known

LINDA Green's life has been devoted to writing - aged eight she pledged to not just write a novel, but to get it published.

She then embarked on a successful career in regional journalism. Although now on her third book, Things I Wish I'd Known, it hasn't always been plain sailing.

Here she chats to the Yorkshire Post's Nick Ahad about the teenage football passions that fuled her latest book, the scores of rejections for her first novel and how hard work and perseverance finally won her that big break.
