Food Matters: Chefs reunited in club's Kitchen

Two Yorkshire chefs have been reunited in a Wakefield kitchen and are already cooking up a storm of interest

Chris Tolson and Andrew Stead first met while working for CGC events catering in 2003, where they cooked for high-profile guests including the Queen.

The pair later moved to Room restaurant in Leeds before their careers took different paths. Now they have been reunited at Hatfeild Hall, the banqueting and conference centre at Normanton Golf Club, on Aberford Road.

They have already shown their intent to make their mark, launching a new Sunday lunch menu and they are already planning Christmas menus.

Between them, the pair will be catering for thousands of people over the coming year, from golfers to the wedding couples and conferences guests who regularly take advantage of Hatfeild Hall's scenic location.
