We’ve had a few weeks back in the saddle, swerving neatly back into the daily groove, the week-in, week-out, so it’s high time to start thinking about the next break.

Based in North Yorkshire, Needle offers beautiful knitwear pieces in fine quality wools, making layering up simple to get right.

Leggings and cotton trousers are a far better option for a ramble, but don’t forget wool fine socks (preferably cashmere), plus thicker socks to wear over, and of course, quality walking footwear, gloves and a hat that keeps your ears warm and doesn’t blow off and away.
