Beer festival set to measure up
Bosses of the Pudsey Civic Hall-based event have decided to ditch pints and half pints in favour of third and two-third measures, understood to be the first for any beer festival or pub in the country.
David Dixon, from festival organisers Leeds CAMRA, said: “Nowhere, as far as we know, has dropped halves and pints, even on a temporary basis – that’s anywhere in the country, not just Leeds.”

The three-day festival begins tomorrow and boasts 200 Real Ales.
