Do you think you could be the next Mary Berry or Paul Hollywood? Well now is your chance to learn and showcase baking skills as Dove House Hospice brings you ‘The Great Dove House Hospice Bake Off’.
10 bakers will be given a series of masterclasses from Hull College Patisserie Chef, Phil Dixon, they will learn hints and tips in all areas of baking from bread making to patisserie to then use these skills to create an afternoon tea for 10 guests at a live finale on Saturday 29th March. Bakers will also be asked to create a ‘showstopper’ at the finale in front of the watchful eye of guests to compete to be crowned ‘Bake of the Year!’.
Fundraising co-ordinator, Amanda Ashburner said “This is a new event for Dove House Hospice and we would like to urge those who would like to learn further skills in baking or fancy a new challenge to come forward in the chance to be crowned baker of the year!”
