A HALF-PINT sized festival is set to open its bar this weekend.
The fifth annual Bubwith Beer Festival will be held at the Bubwith Centre this Saturday, 8 October.
A selection of beer, ciders and perrys from around the UK will be available, as will a select range of Belgian beers.
The ticket price of £13.50 includes entry, a souvenir etched 2011 beer glass, hog roast and music for the evening, this year performed by Dave Smith, a blues guitarist and Reloaded, an indie/rock covers band.
A few tickets are still available from the Jug and Bottle, Main Street Bubwith on (01757) 289707.
The festival is sponsored by the shop, and all cash raised will be split equally between Bubwith Tennis Club and Friends of Bubwith School.
Lizanne Southworth, of the organising committee, said: “Last year, monies raised helped create a garden area at Bubwith Community Primary School and helped fund the new artificial grass court at Bubwith Tennis Club.”
