Top international cyclists are saddling up to pedal their way across the region, after it was announced the inaugural Tour de Yorkshire cycle race will be passing through the East Riding area.
Organisers have revealed the route for the new event, on 1-3 May, and the race will travel through Market Weighton, Stamford Bridge, Holme-on-Spalding Moor, Sancton, North Newbald and Foggathorpe.
It comes after the Pocklington Post launched a campaign to bring the cycling extravaganza to the area.
