As a junior, I was a member at Bridlington Links from the age of 11. I became the junior captain and won many junior tournaments, as well as the club championship and order of merit.
I went on to train as a PGA assistant at the Links and pursue a career in playing full time after I had fully qualified. I won the PGA Assistants order of merit championship twice during my training and have since won more than 60 professional tournaments in the UK and overseas.
I have held nine course records in my career so far and had my finest moment this year in May playing alongside at the BMW PGA Championships at Wentworth, alongside the eventual winner Byeong Hun An.
BACK AT THE LINKS
My long term plan is still to hold a full card on the European Tour. When I played with the winner at the BMW Championship, and observed just how good the players such as Rory McIlroy, Luke Donald and Martin Kaymer really are, I realised that I have certain changes to make if I want to compete at their level consistently.
These changes will take me through the winter months staying at home and spending my time working on my own game, in the gym, on the course and at the range and with my team of coaches.
I believe that with my experience I can offer a slightly different twist to the normal world of golf coaching, and combined with the technological feedback and wide range of training aids I own, I believe that can help improve your golf and make it more understandable and enjoyable.
My tuition uses the latest iPad Air camera and swing analysis software, which rpoduces a 3D image of your exact swingm to give the golfer a better understanding of their unique movements.
My launch monitor is also used in certain lessons to identify factors such as distance hit ,spin rates and efficiency of strike. I can also I can improve other important areas such as pre shot routines, warm up routines, on course decision making, how to read greens correctly, improving your putting stroke,alignment/aim issues, and how to practice.
