With Spring just around the corner and the worst of the winter weather (hopefully) behind us, the KP Winter Golf League is nearing its conclusion.
With only one more round to play, and only the top four to qualify, some of the players have already booked their place in the matchplay quarter finals.
In Group One, Pete Williamson is 19 points clear of second place and therefore in an unassailable position. Neil Atkinson, Ritchie Daniells and John Lowery fill the next three places and will be fighting to hold on to the remaining qualifying places.
In Group Two, Clyde Dealtry is already through with a current total of 53.5 points and only a disastrous final round would deny Neil Williamson a place in the last eight.
The current top scores are - Group 1: Pete Williamson - 49 points, Neil Atkinson - 30 points, Ritchie Daniells - 28.83 points, John Lowery - 26.5 points. Group 2: Clyde Dealtry - 53.5 points, Neil Williamson - 35.25 points, John Smith - 31.83 points, L Smith - 31.08 points
