Re Subject “Town Council anger at £2.5m Beverley Project” in the Driffield Times and Post.
Like many other readers I totally agree with town council clerk Mrs Claire Binnington, priority should be given to making our roads safer and better for every one.
The roads approaching Bridlington from the Lissett and Barmston area are shocking, Surfacing work just amounts to patches here and there. instead of major repairs.
Goodness knows what the visitors who go to visit Bridlington throughout the year think, uneven surfaces, holes in the roads, and many times traffic jams for miles owing to the amount of traffic which use these roads during the summer months. It’s about time they made a dual carriageway.
Why do the ERYC want to favour Beverley when outlying areas need attention. If the Parish Councils are approached with suggestions, they never seem to get anywhere.
