Letter: Town deserves its fair share of road investment

The five entrance roads to our town require resurfacing to at least one mile out.

The Mile and West Green require urgent surface work, the condition may well be dangerous in my view. The town centre is also bad. Visit Driffield and view their roads compared to ours!

Pocklington is a real equal part of East Yorkshire of Riding Council, but our councillors are failing our town in this regard. More houses, more council tax, more budget – we are entitled to a much fairer part.

Come on, councillors, we demand a better deal! The roads continue to get worse.
