Your article: Fun for all party under a tepee with Elvis

A garden centre in Shiptonthorpe will play host to an unusual and entertaining event when Elvis impersonator Steve Caprice performs hits by The King inside giant interlocked tepees heated with real fires.

The event, on 7 February at Langlands Garden Centre, is all in aid of the Pocklington and District branch of the British Heart Foundation for the Wear it Beat it Campaign.

Janet Ducker, of Langlands, said: “We have had events here for the British Heart Foundation in the past as we are keen supporters of their work but this will be something really different for us.

“I have seen Steve Caprice as Elvis before and it’s always been an entertaining and enjoyable show. This will certainly be an evening for everyone to remember.”

Guests are asked to come casually dressed, ready for an evening under canvas. The event will include a hot supper, full bar facilities and a raffle. Tickets cost £17.50.

For tickets contact RM English, on Railway Street, Pocklington. Alternatively, call 01759 303202 or Chris Hindwell on 01759 303730.
