Pocklington and District Local History Group is joining forces with Pocklington Town Council to stage an exhibition about the town and World War One at the end of next month.
The ‘Fallen Heroes’ exhibition will be in the studio at Pocklington Arts Centre from 31 October to 7 November. It will again display the biographical details of Pocklington’s 53 war casualties that were first shown in a similar exhibition in 2008.
It will also reveal new information about Pocklington’s war heroes plus details of life of the town during the war and show the history group’s archive of over 50 local photographs from the 1914-1918 conflict.
