The KP Club at Kilnwick Percy was the launch venue for this month’s Yorkshire Wolds Walking and Outdoors Festival.
Officers from Visit Hull and East Yorkshire were promoting the fourth annual festival which has grown year on year since inception.
The area tourism partnership for the Yorkshire sub-region said that promoting the Wolds as a visitor destination was its top priority this year.
The idea of the festival is to encourage people to stay overnight or to spend a few days in the area to take part in outdoor activities.
Visit Hull and East Yorkshire took a stand at the Countryfile Show and the festival programme is on the Countryfile website which should help to attract many more people.
