Workshop on how to make a low budget film

A two-day workshop on how to devise, write and plan low budget films will be held at Pocklington Arts Centre.

Run by award-winning screenwriter James Richards, the training courses on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 April are open to everyone, of any age and background.

No experience is needed. Training will focus on story planning, first steps in screenwriting, basic camera work and marketing. The cost for the two days, including guides, free booklets and supporting material on CD and hard copy, is £60. The course runs from 10am to 5pm.
