St Leonard’s Hospice, which has a support group and shop in Pocklington, is looking for walkers to take on the ‘St Leonard’s Way’ walk on Saturday 5 May.

The walk takes place in Bronte country, starting and finishing in Haworth in West Yorkshire. The route follows bridleways and paths, and incorporates part of the South Pennine Way.

A St Leonard’s Hospice spokesman said: “Places on the walk are limited so it is advisable to book early. For details or to book a place call community fundraiser Sarah Atkinson on 01904 777777.”
