Volunteers for a charity which provides horse riding and carriage driving opportunities for disabled adults and children saddled up for a sponsored carriage drive and bike ride.
Ebor Vale Riding for the Disabled Group, based at Thornton House Farm, near Barmby Moor, organised the event to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year and to raise funds for the group.
Volunteers for the charity set off from Thornton House Farm and travelled through Newton-on-Derwent, Wilberfoss, Fangfoss, Bolton, Bishop Wilton and Meltonby before arriving in Pocklington town centre. After changing horses at Pocklington Rugby Club car park, they continued through Burnby, Hayton, Melbourne, Everingham and reached their destination at Glebe Farm in Harswell. It is hoped they raised about £2,000.
