A veteran has walked 14 miles from Beverley to Market Weighton to raising more than £300 for Hull Veterans Support Centre.
Paul Mack and his friend Mike McCluskie walked along Hudson Way from Paul’s work place at Leconfield army camp to their local pub, the Bay Horse Inn in Market Weighton.
The pair have raised about £350 for the cause but are still awaiting a confirmed amount as donations are still coming in.
Being a veteran himself and a post-traumatic stress disorder sufferer, the charity is close to Paul’s heart. The charity provides support for homeless veterans from counselling to re-homing and support whilst on streets with clothes and food.
