Children at Bishop Wilton School got the chance to enjoy some mind bending works of art during the Easter Break as an unusual artist paid a visit to the school.
John Wilson specialises in creating artwork that plays tricks on the brain, through their clever use of reverse perspective.
During the day pupils got the opportunity to make some of their own pieces and all the children contributed to a large frieze and worked with John to mount the display.
John Niielsen, acting headteacher at Bishop Wilton School, said: “The children had a great time working with John, and also learnt a great deal about the skills that underpin an artist’s work.”
John’s interest in art started when he was 12 years old and today his works are displayed in galleries around the region.
