Thornton House Farm in Barmby Moor hosted a range of equestrian clinics over half term, which offered riders the opportunity to gain valuable training experience with top British, international and Olympic riders.
There was a show jumping clinic by International show jumper and trainer Joe Whitaker, who runs regular clinics at Thornton House Farm. This was followed by two full days of rider skills and techniques for cross-country with Blyth Tait, former World Champion and Olympic team member.
Nicola Wilson, European and International eventer and one of the members of the London 2012 Olympic silver medal eventing team, trained eventing hopefuls over a number of cross-country obstacles.
Then, international three star dressage judge Clive Halsall return for one of his regular dressage clinics. Clive has produced and ridden horses to Grand Prix level.
From Spring 2014, Thornton House Farm will become home to Ebor Vale Riding For The Disabled. The RDA and their fantastic ponies will move in spring and will hold regular training and events in the fabulous facilities.
