A group of teenagers will host a family fun day in Market Weighton to raise funds for a homeless charity.
A National Citizen Service Team, named To Be Continued, will be putting on a fundraiser at St John's Methodist Church, in Market Weighton, on Wednesday August 3 from 10am.
The team of teenagers from Market Weighton, Pocklington, Driffield and Hull are raising funds for Carecent, a charity in York who help people who are homeless, unemployed or disadvantaged members of the community.
There will be a range of activities on the day such as a cake stalls, face painting and a charity raffle.
They will also host a family fun quiz night on Thursday August 11 at Wilberfoss Sports Pavilion.
All donations will go straight to the charity.
