STAFF from health and beauty company Avon tasted sweet success when they held a cake stall in Market Weighton to raise money for breast cancer.
Represenatives from the company sold nearly all their buns at the Friday general market, which takes place in the town centre.
They also held a raffle to raise more funds.
As well as selling buns at the stall, they went into several shops in the town asking staff if they would like to buy buns to support the cause.
In total, they managed to raise £148 for the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade, which funds vital breast cancer edcation and research.
Debra McCleod, a sales leader and representative for the company, said: “It was pretty successful. We didn’t have many buns left when we finished.”
