Two women from Sutton-on-Derwent have taken part in the London to Amsterdam Cycle Challenge and raised £3,000 for the National Autistic Society.

Kate Lovett and best mate Alison Armstrong, both 49, completed the 320km event in three days, alongside 11 other riders. They hope the money they raised will help the Society to support more families living with autism, a lifelong condition which affects more than 1 in 100 people in the UK, including two of Kate’s three sons.
