A nursery nurse who taught a generation of Pocklington pre-school children died in a tragic accident, a coroner has ruled.

Lissie Ogram, 43, fell down a flight of stairs having returned home with a takeaway pizza and lost her footing in the dark.

She hit her head so badly it caused a 5cm cut to the back of her skull. She had possibly slipped and lay alone over night. Tragically no-one found her until it was too late.
