A free two-day showjumping extravaganza is set to be held in the region – with one day showcasing top championship qualifiers.
The event, the first of its kind at Bishop Burton College, will also have plenty of other attractions to keep every member of the family enthralled.
The equestrian occasion, to take place on 25 and 26 April, will be attended by some of the UK’s most elite show jumpers and horses, as well as those who just love horses.
There will be various stalls at the event selling the area’s finest local produce, as well as many other activities such as a bouncy castle to keep the kids entertained.
There will also be a sponsors’ lunch marquee and viewing area. The organisers are looking for sponsors to help support the non-profit weekend and are asking any potential suitors to get in touch.
Ollie Dales, one of the organisers of the event, said: “This is the first time it has been held at Bishop and we are hoping it will become an annual event at this fantastic international venue.
“There will be some of the country’s top riders there, so the crowds will get to see some great showjumping.
“We are making space to operate a local producers market and various other activities to keep families entertained. We are looking to bring in more sponsorship and would like local companies to get involved.” If you would like to be one of the sponsors email firstname.lastname@example.org
