Shoppers flocked to a car boot sale in Pocklington looking for a bargain or two.
The event, on Sunday (21 June), was held by Pocklington District Lions, in aid of local charities, and raised £500.
There were about 50 sellers at the sale, with a wide range of goods on offer, including bric-a-brac, clothes, plants, furniture and more.
Richard Knill, a member of the Lions club, said: “We did good. The weather wasn’t as nice as last year. The turn out was good.
“It is the second year we have done it. We are planning to hold it every year.”
