Sherbutt Residential and Homecare Services Ltd, specialists in residential and domiciliary care for people with learning disabilities, has been awarded a rating of ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following a recent inspection.

Sherbutt House was rated ‘good’ in four categories – safety, effectiveness, care and leadership – and received a rating of ‘excellent’ in responsiveness.

Care home manager Gillian Lilley was delighted by the ‘good’ rating.

She said: “We are so pleased with the recent rating from the CQC, and the achievement of outstanding, we strive to continue to delivery our high level of standards.

“We are grateful to our staff team who continue to work incredibly hard.

“Their determination to provide the very best care for our residents is reflected in the positive feedback in the report.”
