An exhibition of original paintings and limited edition prints by acclaimed Yorkshire wildlife artist Robert E Fuller opens at Pocklington Arts Centre this week.
The exhibition, which runs from Wednesday 5 December to Tuesday 29 January, will also feature the best of his work on luxury tableware including bone china mugs, placemats, coasters and lap-trays plus greetings cards, giving everyone the chance to purchase unique, and highly collectible Christmas gifts.
The former Woldgate School pupil is one of Britain’s foremost wildlife artists. Using acrylics and oils, and favouring a highly detailed, realistic style Robert creates stunning paintings that perfectly reflect the behaviour and character of his wild subjects.
Regarded as an expert on wildlife matters, Robert is a television regular and his unique footage of animal behaviour has been broadcast on primetime TV programmes, including the BBC’s Springwatch, The One Show and Countryfile.
PAC director Janet Farmer, said: “It is an absolute privilege to host an exhibition by an artist of Robert Fuller’s calibre.
“Robert has a world class reputation for his incredible wildlife paintings, and quite rightly so, and we know that not only will our studio be brought to life by his work but it’s going to be incredibly popular.
“We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to PAC to browse Robert’s latest works and pick up a truly special, unique Christmas gift at the same time.”
