Fresh produce of all shapes and sizes were entered into a show with a difference.
Hayton Village Hall held its first Alternative Fun Produce Show, in which people of all ages took part.
The event featured a range of unusual classes, such as weirdest shaped potato, most irregular shaped parsnip, most twisted runner bean and best matching eggs.
There were more than 50 classes for green-fingered competitors to enter in a number of different sections, including home grown, flowers, flower arrangement, cookery / home produce, handicrafts and a section for children.
