A primary school is hosting a ‘pop-up shop’ event to support local businesses.
It will take place in the school hall at St Martin’s Primary in Fangfoss on Wednesday (6 May), from 7.30pm-9.30pm.
St Martin’s is hosting the event as part of its outreach work as a Fairtrade and eco-school.
Theresa Brindley, a class teacher at the school, said: “The idea behind the evening is to create sales opportunities for companies who don’t have the shop overheads and are trying to source from ethical suppliers.
“It is primarily a social evening that will help raise funds for school, with the opportunity to browse and buy some fantastic products.”
Entrance is free.
