Police and primary school pupils join forces in road safety push

Concerned youngsters have teamed up with their local police officer in a bid to improve road safety outside their school.

Pupils from Sutton-on-Derwent Primary School joined PCSO Gareth Ludlow recently in a vehicle speed survey and will be taking their campaign for better car parking to the parish council and the Crown Estate.

Pupils, parents and staff have become increasingly concerned at the problems caused by a lack of parking facilities close to the rural school on Main Street.
