A Pocklington based trust which awards small grants to youngsters is looking to help more people in the local area.
The Doctor Angus Fairweather Trust awards money to those under the age of 21 who may be taking part in training, research or character forming activities, individually or as part of a group.
Formed in honour of Dr Fairweather who served Pocklington up until his death in 1971, the trust has provided young people with a helping hand for over 40 years and trustees have a wide discretion over how the money is allocated.
The trust’s AGM will take place in late April and anyone who would like to apply for help should try and get their application in before then.
To obtain an application form contact the trust secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org
