A variety of talents were showcased at the third annual Pocklington’s Got Talent competition last Thursday.
11 acts, including singers, dancers and pianists, took to the Pocklington Arts Centre stage to show off their skills in front of a packed audience and a panel of judges.
The competition was split into two categories, under 18s and over 18s, with a winner from both sections receiving a cash prize of £100.
Two pianists, Megan Preece (under 18s) and Peter Winterton (over 18s), were victorious on the evening, which saw nearly £1,000 raised for the Mayor of Pocklington’s chosen charities - Riding for the Disabled and the PSP Association.
