Four candidates have been nominated for the election of a Pocklington Provincial ward councillor.
Independent candidate Andy Strangeway, from Full Sutton, Labour candidate Lucie Spadone, from Pocklington, UKIP candidate Neil Tate, from Bridlington, and Conservative candidate Paul West, from Pocklington, are the four people vying to become a councillor for the Pocklington Provincial Ward. The vacancy has arisen following the death of long-serving councillor Stephen Lane. The by-election will take place on 7 April. The count will take place at East Riding Leisure Francis Scaife in Pocklington.
See next week’s Pocklington Post for more on each of these candidates.
