A mother-of-two has undergone potentially life-saving surgery in America costing more than £50,000 and is asking for help to pay for more.
Louise Brent, of Seaton Ross, has a Arteriovenous malformation on her face, a rare type of birthmark, which causes serious bleeds.
The 57-year-old underwent an operation at Leeds General Infirmary in September last year which consequently deformed the left side of her face and has caused a number of bad side effects. This has led to her having blood transfusions.
After being told by the hospital that there was nothing else it could do to help her, Mrs Brent carried out some research and found there are hospitals abroad that offer more treatment, including in Little Rock in the American state of Arkansas.
