Plans are afoot to install 2,000 solar panels in Hayton.
A planning application has been submitted to East Riding Council by Oak Farming Unlimited Company for the development on land off Roman Road.
The panels would convert daylight into electricity. All the electricity generated from the panels would be exported to the National Grid,
Each panel would be about 164cm x 99cm and the total area covered by the panels would be approximately 2,522m2.
The deadline for residents to submit their views on the plans to East Riding Council is this Sunday. To comment on the application, visit www.eastriding.gov.uk/newplanningaccess/
