St Leonard’s Friends group looking for sponsorship to help pay for new calendar scheme
The Pocklington Friends of St Leonard’s Hospice group is looking to attract sponsors to help produce a new fundraising calendar.
The calendar will feature local scenes from around the Pocklington area and people can enter their great images as part of a photography competition.
The group is hoping residents in this area will take part in the competition, entitled Wildlife and Landscapes of Pocklington and Surrounding Villages, which will see the best 12 pictures featured in the 2022 charity calendar.
The final selection of the photographs will be made by renowned local wildlife artist Robert E Fuller.
The winning images will be used in the calendar which will be sold in aid of St Leonard’s Hospice.
A spokesman said: “We are seeking sponsors for the 2022 calendar with a prominent logo position offered at a minimum £25 per page/month.
“Please let us know if you would like to reserve one, or more, of the monthly page positions.
“In the competition, people must be over 16 years of age, be the creator and copyright holder of the images (three photographs maximum), and authorise the use of each successful image for the purpose of producing and publicising the fundraising calendar.
“Images must be in landscape format only, in colour, and preferably in 3:2 aspect ratio. Submitted images should not have been excessively edited, for example so as to create an entirely artificial scene.
“All proceeds from the calendar sales will go to St Leonard’s Hospice.”
Deadline for entries is Wednesday, June 30. Email [email protected] with your photograph.
