Can you help the popular centre emerge even stronger and more vibrant?

Have you got skills that you can share?

Are you looking for a new interest?

Would you like to help in your local community?

If the answer is yes to these questions the Friends committee would love to hear form you.

Janet Brader, chair of Friends of Pocklington Arts Centre, said: “We are a friendly group always happy to welcome new faces.

“Committee members perform many different roles: various administrative jobs keeping the Friends running smoothly; planning, organising and running fund raising events; helping at events we support.

“As you know, Friends help our wonderful arts centre in other ways, too.

“For example helping at fundraising events, distributing leaflets to homes in the town, and helping in the auditorium.

“Your skills, enthusiasm and personality would be welcome as committee member, leaflet distributor and auditorium staff.

“If you would like to discuss, without any commitment, the role of the committee and any of the other volunteering opportunities please email [email protected] or phone me on 07837 979732.”
