There’s still chance to enter Pocklington Friends of St Leonard’s Hospice group’s photographic competition.

The group is hoping people will take part in the competition, entitled Wildlife and Landscapes of Pocklington and Surrounding Villages, which will see the best 12 pictures featured in the 2022 charity calendar.

The final selection of the photographs will be made by wildlife artist Robert E Fuller and the winning 12 images will be used in St Leonard’s Hospice fundraising calendar.

A spokesman said: “Due to feedback received from a number of entrants we will accept archive material as long as the subject matter follows the criteria laid out in the attached rules.

“People must be over 16 years of age, be the creator and copyright holder of the images (three photographs maximum), and authorise the use of each successful image for the purpose of producing and publicising the fundraising calendar.

“Images must be in landscape format only, in colour, and preferably in 3:2 aspect ratio. Submitted images should not have been excessively edited, for example so as to create an entirely artificial scene.”

Deadline for entries is Sunday, July 11. Email [email protected] with your photographs.
