Residents at Stamford Bridge Beaumont care home recently enjoyed an afternoon with a live music performance.

Local man Ian Malcolm performed a selection of classic hits including from Cliff Richard and Elvis Presley.

Residents joined in with the singing, and also danced and clapped along as Ian performed his finale song ‘It’s a long way to Tipperary’ during the first live performance at the home since March last year.

General manager Lindsey Leatham said: “Our residents had a wonderful day singing along with the wonderful performer.

“We do our best to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment as part of the lifestyle enrichment programme for residents and this was definitely one of our favourites.”

One resident said: “I haven’t heard some of these songs in many years.

“The classics never go out of style.”
