Appeal for stallholders to join End of Pockdown family day
There is still chance for local businesses and charities to book a stall for the ‘End of Pockdown’ event held at Pocklington Rugby Club.
The family friendly festival has been planned for Saturday, July 31 as the country emerges from the Covid pandemic.
The event is free to attend plus all the entertainment, activities, workshops, games etc are free once people are on site.
People will just need money for refreshments or to make a purchase from a stall (no dogs or own alcohol allowed at the event).
The main aims of the event are to help as many businesses/services as possible to help them get back up and running again and providing residents with something to celebrate after a tough year.
Organisers of the event are Pocklington Covid-19 Community Support Group, Pocklington Rugby in the Community, Pock Town Council, East Riding Active Towns and Pocklington Arts Centre.
They are asking for any local businesses who would like to get involved with End of Pockdown to get in touch so they can be part of the big day.
Zoe Hodgkin, one of the organisers, said: “We would like to get the word out to Pocklington businesses/shops/charities to attend and run stalls selling their products.
“Spaces are becoming limited so we giving people the chance to book now.”
