Annual Tulip Festival at Burnby Hall Gardens promises to be the most spectacular yet
Burnby Hall Gardens’ annual Tulip Festival, which attracts thousands of visitors, will take place from Saturday, April 24 to Saturday, May 8 and promises to be the most spectacular yet.
This year’s tulip display has been devised by head gardener Jill Ward on behalf of the Stewarts Trust and is the culmination of months of planning by the venue’s team.
A spokesman said: “This year, there will once again be a cascade of colours throughout the gardens, featuring 12,000 tulips, with 130 varieties on display, which can be seen formally displayed in tubs throughout the gardens and in the main flower beds across the site. Wallflowers have also been underplanted to provide extra colour and fragrance.
“Pre booking at www.burnbyhallgardens.com is required for non-members.”
