Shiptonthorpe-based Triplestar College of Performing Arts is celebrating exceptional performances by six of its associate students.

The students performed alongside professional performers in the Beauty and the Beast pantomime at The Baths Hall, Scunthorpe.

They also had the opportunity to share the stage with three well known celebrities: comedian Bobby Davro, Britain’s Got Talent Finalist, Andrew Fleming, and Tracy Beaker’s Dani Harmer.

Creative director and principal Emma Bailey-Hague said: “Our Triplestar Associate students were very excited to take part in the performance of Beauty and the Beast as it is a pantomime which is a favourite for many of them.

“This provided a fantastic opportunity for the Triplestar Associate students to develop their performing arts experience and help them build a strong portfolio.

“To be able to perform alongside the celebrities also made the experience special, and has delivered valuable exposure to industry relevant training which is a demonstration of Triplestar Colleges values to deliver a vibrant and dynamic learning experience.

“The Triplestar Associates programme is a performance-focused division of Triplestar College of Performing Arts which complements training people may be receiving outside of Triplestar College.”
