More than 50 scarecrows were on display around Holme-on-Spalding Moor as part of the village’s Holme Grown Annual Weekend.
The village held a scarecrow competition last Saturday and Sunday, with first prize going to Stephen, Caroline and Holly Gill, who created a World War One Holme Tommy in the trenches on their garage roof. on New Road.
In total, there were 51 scarecrows scattered around the village. There were also 10 open gardens. In addition, the weekend event featured a tea dance in the village hall, craft fair, car show, bake off and sewing bee competition.
