Young people in Pocklington are being invited to help shape their communities by joining new youth forums.
The forums will give young people a say on issues affecting them, providing a platform to shape future services to meet their needs and commission new services. They will be made up of young people aged between 11 and 24.
There is a budget of £40,000, donated by the Dewhirst Charitable Trust, to commission future services in the East Riding.
The next local meeting will be held at Central Pock ‘Youthie’, 12 Union Street, Pocklington, 8 October, 7pm to 8.30pm.
