Market Weighton teen determined to help victims of bullying
Young Devan Witter knows all about the effects of bullying after enduring years of physical and verbal abuse at school.
The 16-year-old, from Market Weighton, was called names regularly and beaten up in the playground.
But now Devan is on a mission to help other children who are victims of bullying.
He is launching a campaign called ‘Advice for Teachers’ to help teachers tackle the problem. The campaign is part of the Fixers project, which encourages young people to make a difference to issues they feel strongly about.
