Police appeared to be searching a church after a man was arrested on suspicion of affray in the early hours of this morning.
Humberside Police received call at 1.15am this morning (Tuesday August 2) following reports that a 24-year-old man had been threatened by another man.
A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and remains in police custody.
As part of enquiries police have attended a All Saints Church, in Pavement, Pocklington, in the area at around 3pm today.
One eyewitness said he saw around six police officers who appeared to be searching the courtyard area of the church.
